Hawai'i established control early in the first set, building a 9-6 lead. A Titriyski kill followed by a Jordan block pushed the advantage to 17-12, and Titriyski eventually sealed the 25-22 win with his seventh and eighth kills of the frame after the Anteaters had closed within two.
The second set featured a tighter battle after UCI jumped ahead 7-4. The Warriors rallied to tie the frame at 13 and again at 16 before taking their first lead at 18-17. After Jokanovic's second ace gave the Eaters a 20-19 lead, Roure sparked a decisive 5-0 run with two aces, and a Todd kill helped secure another 25-22 victory.
UH looked to run away with the third set after a six-point run fueled a 7-1 start which included a pair of blocks. The lead grew to 24-16 before a 6-0 run by the Anteaters, which included four aces by Jokanovic, cut the lead to 24-22. However, Titriyski ended the comeback attempt by pounding his 20th kill to clinch the sweep.
The Rainbow Warriors will continue their four-match road swing next week with a pair of Big West matches at UC San Diego on April 10 and 11 in La Jolla, Calif.
